MEET DR. CRIS

Dr. Cristina J. Robinson, D.C. feels she is one of the most blessed people on the planet. She says, "I'm a detective. I get to know someone's body and find out what it has too much of or too little of. Then we find ways to balance it's needs and people get their quality of life back.  I get to do what I'm passionate about, play all day, meet incredible people, and go home feeling fulfilled and happy at the end of my day."

Her background started in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology.  She loves working with athletes of all levels and finds the challenge of solving a problem of an injury exciting. Most athletic injuries can be resolved with rest, ice, balancing the length and strength of muscles and tendons, and consistent chiropractic care and nutrition.  She has assisted professional athletes go on to win major championships in golf, football, swimming, tennis, and weight lifting.  The weekend warrior is just as important to her and can receive the same benefits to perform at their highest level and have fun doing it!

Dr. Cris (as her patients fondly call her) then went on to specialize in Pediatrics. She came to Dallas to do a residency in Pediatrics and ended up staying here.  "I love Pediatrics because kids tell you where it hurts and then let you figure it out. All kids deserve to start their development with optimal care.  The birthing process is tough on them."  Pediatrics wasn't enough though.  Dr. Cris wanted to know what the cause was rather than treat just the symptoms. She then began her education in Chiropractic Care and got many of the answers she was looking for about the cause vs.. the symptom.  "I've always believed that the body wants to return to a state of health and balance" says Dr. Cris.  "Now I know how to more effectively assist it."

Chiropractic Care is the answer to a prayer for many people.  It allows the master system (the nervous system) to optimally function, and therefore bring the body back to a state of health. Whoever said "the power that made the body, heals the body" was absolutely right.  "I just listen to the information given to me and use it for the patient's highest good. Then the rest happens and healing takes place.  Whether 1 day old or 101 years old, I feel I can assist all bodies to function at a higher level" proclaims Dr. Cris.  Indeed, "the power that made the body does heal the body."
