SPORTS INJURIES AND PREVENTION OF INJURIES
Dr. Robinson has extensive background in athletics and sports injury and prevention. She says, "I was raised by a father who was a huge jock and a brother who played sports with me."  From long distance running to soccer, swimming, tennis and dance, she has participated and experienced the injuries from all the sports. "I was a dancer for many years and when I injured my ankles, feet, and back I switched to aerobics dance classes and weight lifting.  Then the injuries increased.  Then I had injuries in my shoulders, neck, knees, and back, so I began to run and ski.  I then really injured my back, foot, and broke my hand in three places from a skiing accident." 

Nobody seemed to know how to help Dr. Cris.  So she used all of her own knowledge and began to do all of the muscle balancing exercises and got good chiropractic treatments twice weekly.  Adding extra healing nutritional supplements, deleting what was slowing her healing (caffeine and sugar), and doing everything else right... ice, rest, stretch, and cross training. She recovered wonderfully.

Dr. Cris is CCSP Certified (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) and has numerous certification in specific orthopedic joint rehabilitations.  She also has extensive education in exercise physiology and kinesiology. She is a master Applied Kinesiology and uses Applied Kinesiology(AK) on every patient to be assured that she has treated every area of the body fully.  AK is a magnificent tool.  It can cut the healing time in half and give clear answers.
